Sports injuries often involve the musculoskeletal system and can be traumatic or result from overuse, such as tendonitis. Muscle and Joint Pain

Muscle and joint pain refers to the musculoskeletal system of the body. This consists of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, cartilage and bones of the body. These can be affected in many ways such as overuse injuries, work related injuries, muscle imbalance, muscle tears, joint irritations and cartilage breakdown and nerve entrapment.

Painful feet is a common complaint and a frequent reason for referral for physiotherapy. People of any age from children to elderly people can present with foot pain. It is a common source of discomfort in sports people.
